Music for Life performers: Majestic Brass |
![]() Steinway |
Majestic Brass, piccolo trumpet, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba‘Majestic Brass’ was founded when the members of the quintet were studying at the Royal College of Music. Each pursues a freelance career with major orchestras and various brass and chamber ensembles throughout the UK and Europe. Between them they have gained several prestigious awards and enjoy playing a wide range of music including jazz. Locally they have performed for a Sowerby Music concert in April 2006 and a concert at All Saints Church, Northallerton in 2007. We are pleased to welcome Majestic Brass to their second season with Music for Life in particular Craig Burnett who is very much a ‘local lad’. Craig’s interest in the trumpet dates back to his days as a pupil at Broomfield School, Allertonshire School and Northallerton College. He has a keen interest in playing early music on the piccolo trumpet and is principal of Ensemble-Cordiale in the South of France. |
