Pre-concert meal

Oswalds Restaurant right across the road from St. Oswald’s Church is now putting on a special pre-concert meal to further enhance the evening’s enjoyment for Sowerby Music’s members and friends – website.

The menu features a fine selection of starters, main courses and sweets with coffee to finish. Starting at 5.30pm, a two course meal with coffee is available from £10.00.

Eight of us tested this facility before the April 2009 concert and had nothing but praise for the quality of the food, the value and the service. We left a few moments after seven in excellent humour and good time to take our seats in Church.

Just a few thoughts:

  • To help the team, meals must be booked a few days prior. Also there will be one or two times in the year when this meal cannot be made available.
  • Suggest arrive 5.15 to have a drink and place orders for service soon after 5.30.
  • £10.00 is excellent value and the menu is really mouth watering. Even with drinks and service the bill should be below £20.

This pre-concert meal makes the whole evening something special. Ideal too for a celebration event or if you have guests with you.
